It’s a pretty simple philosophy, and the basis on which many arrangements are made between all sorts of business people.

On the Internet, this type of activity is called a JV (for “Joint Venture”). The “normal” sort of joint venture is where I might agree to promote your products or services to my customers, usually by including information in the email newsletter I send out to my customers, or by putting articles and advertising on my web site.

In return, I might get the same type of publicity from you, or maybe I might get EXTRA commission from any sales made of your product.

Either way, both parties will get their itchy back scratched!
