So What’s Holding YOU back?

posted in Strategies |

It’s a question that’s been asked twice in emails I’ve received this morning, and because it’s something you just can’t ignore, it always makes you start thinking…

I’ve been looking at this issue a lot lately as I try to determine what’s preventing me from taking things to the next level… and I’ve come up with lots of excuses… I mean reasons…

In my case, I’ve been doing heaps of research into Internet Marketing to assist me in the development of THIS web site.

And in the process, I’ve signed up to LOTS of email lists (damn those free giveaway events!) and I’ve stayed on all these lists just to see what they “do”.

The trouble is… these people are saying lots of interesting things… so much so they are making it very hard to decide which lists I should unsubscribe from!

And now my problem is… drum roll… ta da…

Information Overload

I’d LOVE to investigate and report on all of this great stuff I’m hearing about, but I just DON’T HAVE THE TIME to sift through all this material to determine what I should FOCUS ON, and then TAKE THE APPROPRIATE ACTIONS.

And that means unless I can get something different happening, then things are not going to go the way I want.

Because I am just one person, I can’t possibly do everything myself. But this is a fairly typical scenario with people in business on the ‘net.

So I’ve decided to try to enlist others to help out.

I’m going to approach ALL of those people whose lists I am on, and personally invite them to joint venture with me and help build the ‘Net Marketing Toolbox using a community approach.

So when you are looking at what YOU are doing… ask yourself “how other people can lighten your load” and make your job a little easier.

Are are you going to continue being “jack of all trades, and master of none”?

Or are you going to reclaim some of your life back?
