How IS Your Website Going To Make Money?

posted in Strategies |

The most recent post suggested that you should make sure all your “back-door” pages have an obvious call to action.

This might be a good place to ask you what strategy do you have in place so that EACH and EVERY page on your site can make money?

In fact, you should aim to have at least THREE monetisation methods on each page!

For example, you should include some (or all) of:

  1. blocks of Adsense advertisements
  2. links to highly recommended products (maybe hand-picked affiliate ones)
  3. random products on special
  4. a subscription form for your newsletter
  5. links to other web sites in your own ‘network’

Each of these examples has the potential to make money, directly or indirectly.

Put them in front of your audience as much as you can - obviously without overdoing it or making it too obvious…

But then, if you build up an informative, authoritative site, with fresh content that your visitors find useful AND easy to navigate, you’ll be on the right track anyway…
