Where Can You Get New Content For Your Web Site?

posted in Strategies |

I’m a firm believer in growing a site by regularly adding fresh, relevant content to it. But where can you get this stuff?

Well… you ARE supposed to be an expert in your industry - aren’t you? So for now, just start writing about different aspects of your business.

Publish these articles on your web site, and submit them to the major article directories so OTHER people can pick them up to use on their sites, with the link back to you!

What about newsworthy events in your industry?

Company news? Press Releases?

New product releases and reviews?

All sorts of stuff can be used as source material to add new content to your site.

A web site that remains static will NEVER (or hardly ever) work for you!

Aim to add at least one new item every week.

But if you’re not a writer, then look for any/all of:

  1. Paying someone to write for you
  2. Using other people’s articles from the article directories, or
  3. Using PLR (Private Label Rights) articles

Your objective is to regularly add new material:

  • so your site changes and grows to become an authority in its niche
  • to encourage return visits by people,
  • to encourage repeat search engine visits, and
  • to increase the organic listings you have in the search engines.

But this material MUST be well written!

It must appeal to your visitors! It must offer them some value.

And remember, it must have some call to action so you can make something from it!
