New, Relevant Content = Traffic

If 80%+ of traffic arrives at your site from major search engines, then a sound approach to increasing traffic is to keep building new and relevant content on your web site.

Add extra pages. Update the old ones. Create a blog. Add your own RSS feeds. Use other people’s feeds. Add lots of content that offers even more value to your visitors!

TRAFFIC is THE Ingredient For Your Success!

Without it, you’re knackered!

But what’s “good” traffic?

What can you expect when you get a new web site underway?
What amount of traffic is going to generate “results” that you can be happy with?
How long will it take to get to that level?
And how do ya get it?

And it is NOT the TOTAL number of visitors you get that determines your success! It’s the QUALITY of that visitor (targeted and interested) that counts, along with how successful …

Your Choice For Web Hosting Is VITAL!

When you publish on the ‘net, there’s always that knocks the wind out of your sails and sets you back. If it isn’t a change at Google, it’s something else.

The latest and most ridiculous thing of all time to happen to me was to do with my web hosting providers suspending my “busy” sites because they “consumed too many resources” on their shared servers.

What was ridiculous was their definition of “busy”.

Basically if you have more …

Why Does Organic Traffic Fluctuate So Much?

Organic listings are those pages that are picked up by search engine robots/spiders and included, free of charge, in the search engine’s index – e.g. Google, Yahoo, MSN Live. My placement in these results when people carry out searches there depends on the keywords used on my pages.

I have always relied heavily on these organic (or free) listings in the search engines to drive traffic to my sites, but lately it has become increasingly harder …

Life’s Not Meant To Be Easy…

The reality is that it IS getting a LOT harder to make a living using the Internet.

And every day, the Internet is failing literally thousands of existing and aspiring entrepreneurs!

With thousands more coming online to compete with me, you, and each other, in the immediate future, the failure rate is going to be even higher!

Originally used to promote my talents as a web developer, in 2007 these web sites now have the express purpose of earning me an income from:displaying Google Adsense advertisements, and
referring people to appropriate “recommended” affiliate products

So What’s Holding YOU back?

It’s a question that’s been asked twice in emails I’ve received this morning, and because it’s something you just can’t ignore, it always makes you start thinking…

I’ve been looking at this issue a lot lately as I try to determine what’s preventing me from taking things to the next level… and I’ve come up with lots of excuses… I mean reasons…

In my case, I’ve been doing heaps of research into Internet Marketing to assist me …
