The audacity of spammers continues to amaze me!

I’ve just deleted two posts on this site which were put there by spammers who somehow hacked into my wordpress and placed the posts there!

I discovered they’d done it after Feedburner delivered my “latest posts” to me by email.

What a hide these people have, hijacking my site and making two posts advertising a whole range of drivers for different sound cards and lyric searches that are supposedly available through www.sound-drivers.org – which looks like it is a junk “Made for Adsense” driver “directory” despite the fact that it also has various files you can download… not that I’d have ANY faith in them now after this poor attempt at hijacking my web site!

Whether this is an attempt to build links to their site, or perhaps an attempt to undermine their competition by giving them a bad rep, I’m not sure. Whatever the reason, it’s damn annoying!

And you can only hope that your RSS subscribers are a forgiving bunch when that type of junk arrives in their feedreader or inbox, or else there’ll be lots of un-subs thanks to these low-life.

So now there’s ANOTHER thing to add to the list of things you have to watch out for!

And STAY AWAY from www.sound-drivers.org too! They don’t deserve your attention
