The last seven days since the launch of TipDrop has seen some remarkable changes and improvements to the site, many driven by suggestions from the user base.

After some early teething problems, the "credibility system" which is one of the main features of TipDrop seems to have been sorted, and many new features added.

Jonathan Leger is doing an absolutely remarkable job at developing a new community here, and is about to generate some serious media publicity which early users may be able to capitalise on, simply by being there with some good tips!

So do "drop by" at Tip Drop and check it out - sooner rather than later!

Cheers

I still use Twitter but the quality of the contributions to Tipdrop is much higher. Almost every single post has something of value to contribute: the basic question TipDrop addresses, "What do you know (about that)?" is much more interesting than "What are you doing?".

Knowledge shared is power multiplied.

I think it is a joke. Common, give me a break. Serious challenge to Twitter? Are you kidding me? This is a quote from their disclaimer
"Answers and comments provided on TipDrop.com are general information, and are not intended to substitute for informed professional medical, psychiatric, psychological, tax, legal, investment, accounting, or other professional advice. TipDrop.com does not endorse, and expressly disclaims liability for any product, manufacturer, distributor, service or service provider mentioned or any opinion expressed in answers or comments"
This summarizes perfectly how useless those tips are.

@DotComNote - "Serious challenge to Twitter" - your words... not mine.

A Joke? Definitely NOT! I'd simply LOVE to have a site rise to an Alexa rank of under 50k within a month - and that means Tipdrop is doing SOMETHING right, and addressing a real need out there - or else it just would have fizzled!

And what's wrong with the disclaimer? I notice you DO have a (very similar) disclaimer on your site... so what's with the gripe about that???

Does that mean the content on YOUR site is just as equally "useless" :)

Seriously, if you are in business online and NOT covering your a** legally with a disclaimer, then you could be in big trouble.
