If someone is in web design, they should already know these points, but sadly there are a lot of sites still being built that don&#039;t follow even the most simple rules. I saw one site that had a turquoise background and bright pink text, causing my eyes to explode. If I tried to read the text, the background yelled at me. 

My site has a black background and white text, but that is because it&#039;s an art gallery and the imagery is the focal point, while the white content text is merely a description and added indexing tool.</description>
