As part of my semi-regular “analysis” of the spam I receive, I was totally shocked to find over 1260 messages in my junk mail folder for the last eight days. I really need to do something effective, because this is getting totally out of control!
Looking at my various email accounts that received spam (16 main POP accounts, with multiple aliases for each one), I tried to decide whether I could kill off any of them …

Some time ago I “accidentally” discovered a quite funny report featuring a squirrel (of all things) offering loads of optimization tips to improve your website’s conversion rate - and then totally forgot about it and so didn’t share it with you!
Thankfully, the guys at Conversion Rate Experts have updated their web site, and reminded me about their great viral article (it was written to coincide with the launch of the free Google Website Optimizer, but …

Back in April, I wrote a post on how to set up a Wordpress Membership site using htaccess - i.e. no plugins needed, just playing with stock standard stuff readily available. Little did I realise it was set to become THE most popular post on this site

For newbies to the Internet Marketing (IM) field, swimming in the ocean with all the big fish (read guru’s) can be a very frustrating experience, for all sorts of reasons. Now, we’ve all heard that you need your own “product” if you are going to really get somewhere with this Internet Marketing stuff…
But let’s say you’re developing your own product in the field of “list building”… or perhaps the latest in “traffic generation” tools…
What …

Another reason to pay close attention to your web server stats!
I recently discovered that an eBay seller was flogging a product that I give away - the Mike Filsaime Interview - Confessions of An Internet Millionaire.
Nothing strange in that you might say… anyone can flog it…
Except that one of the images he used was stolen directly from my site! Over June and July there have been quite a few requests for the image that …

It’s my birthday, today! As is often the case with birthdays… at least as you start getting on a bit… you reflect on what you have “done”.
And today, I realised I have spent precisely one quarter of my 53 years working as a full-timer on the ‘net!
Way back in the good ole days, circa 1995, the ‘net was very like the wild, Wild West. And I was there, blazing trails into the great unknown, trying …
