Internet Marketer Rob Toth had a drama with PayPal recently, when they shut him down after using (what they called) some “misleading” wording on one of his sales pages. Basically, they thought he made some income claims which were a bit misleading.

Just a few days ago (April 15) Alexa made an announcement that their “new” ranking system was now available.
If you don’t already know, for years Alexa has had a toolbar that users can download onto their web browser. As these users surfed the web, the toolbar sent data back to Alexa to help determine the “popularity” of web sites across the globe.

My Christmas present to myself was a Squidoo lens (or two). What on earth is that? Well… it’s a free page which focuses on the keyword of your choice, and allows you to build backlinks to your sites and generate some extra targeted traffic! If 80%+ of traffic arrives at your site from major search engines, then a sound approach to increasing traffic is to keep building new and relevant content on your web site.
Add extra pages. Update the old ones. Create a blog. Add your own RSS feeds. Use other people’s feeds. Add lots of content that offers even more value to your visitors!
Give your visitors what they want, and you will be rewarded (eventually).
