Forget Everything you’ve heard about the Internet before today!

After reading this report (an ongoing work in progress by the way) hopefully you’ll discover what does NOT work, and what you CAN do about it!

I’ve Almost Had Enough!

Since coming online in 1995, I’ve tried just about everything I can think of to make the Internet work for me… and now I’ve almost had enough!

The last two years in particular has seen me experiment and research like never before.

The end result?

Probably the unfortunate development of a rather cynical outlook on how the Internet is failing literally thousands of aspiring entrepreneurs!

So let’s discuss what has NOT worked for me - and hopefully work out where I’m going in 2007… And in the process, make some suggestions you might benefit from.

Failure rates will increase among small businesses on the Internet as the competition hots up for any available niche!

Organic traffic fluctuates widely for a variety of reasons beyond your control, affecting your bottom line unpredictably.

Web sites that offer fresh, relevant content and provide value to their visitors will continue to grow. As they grow, they become more authoritative in their niche, get better organic search traffic and gain more credibility.

Examine how your web site is going to make you money. Turn it from a liability into an asset.

Look to implement Web 2.0 and other strategies to obtain interested visitors from places other than major search engines (link soon).

Create long-term plans to develop ongoing relationships with interested previous or current customers. Take things to the next level…
